Another technique used to display the human form as a group of abstract shapes. First two images display photos of what was abstract drawings of human form which were partially cut out, and then hung up to produce multiple shapes. Using them I drew and created the art works shown in the second, third and forth images using charcoal, emulsion, coloured pastels, paper (brown and white paper), coloured card and coloured ink.

Abstract Human Form
Drawings I created in response to human form using different styles I was told to experiment with to display them as abstractions. The first image shows continuous line drawings of multiple poses of a figure and uses orange to indicate light and blue to indicate shadow. Second and third images show use of charcoal to indicate shadow on the figures, some with and without outlines.
Collages
Collages I created using the photos I took and sketches I drew at Yorkshire Sculpture Park based on the style of Joan Schulze. I like her use of dull colours, few vibrant colours, square shapes, some torn materials, letters, numbers and patterns that blend well.
Yorkshire Sculpture Park Photos and Sketches
Sculptures and chairs that I sketched during my trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park (sketches of Henry Moore's "Large Totem Head" and "Two Piece Reclining Figure: Points" as well as Ai Weiwei's "Fairytale Chairs").
Photos of Henry Moore sculptures that I saw at Yorkshire Sculpture Park along with other sketches. Some of these were drawn from life and others from the photographs I took.
